Assalam-o-Alaikum Everyone! ❤️ Welcome back to another brand-new vlog from the beautiful Neelum Valley, Azad Kashmir, Pakistan.
Today, I am taking you along on a beautiful journey through my village as we prepare for the upcoming winter season according to our traditional Kashmiri culture.
Our journey starts from the upper side of my home, where we head towards our village fields to collect maize stalks (Karab) and arrange them on a tree as part of our traditional winter preparations.
Along the way, I show you beautiful natural springs, breathtaking village views, the Neelum River, and the main Neelum Valley highway.
In this vlog, you will also discover some fascinating pieces of our old Kashmiri heritage, including a traditional wooden washing tool called “Kunda” and a huge wooden grain-storage container known locally as “Dandora,” which, according to a local resident, is around 80–90 years old!
After exploring these historical items and completing our winter preparations, I take you around the village, visit my beloved Dada Jan, enjoy a friendly conversation with a local tailor at the bazaar, and finally return home to end the vlog.
This is the real beauty of Kashmiri village life — our traditions, our history, our elders, and our connection with nature. ❤️
