My Mate Trusted Me With His Neo Geo AES… So I Ripped the BIOS Out | UniBIOS 4.0

A mate handed me his Neo Geo AES and trusted me to do a simple little upgrade… So naturally, I pulled it apart and started removing chips. The job this time was to remove the original BIOS and install UniBIOS 4.0, giving the AES region-free capability along with a heap of extra features. Sounds easy enough… except this is someone else’s Neo Geo. The mission: 🔧 Open up the Neo Geo AES 🔥 Remove the original BIOS 😬 Remember this console DOESN’T belong to me 🛠️ Install UniBIOS 4.0 🌏 Unlock the region options 🎮 Put everything back together 🙏 Turn it on and hope I still have a friend afterwards Did the UniBIOS install go according to plan, or did I just make one very expensive phone call to my mate? Watch and find out!
