Cannon Firing Test was performed for the first time in the presence of Ambari Elephant Arjuna Dasara Jumbos so that the animals get used to the loud bombarding sound of blasting cannons and also to the bright fire light of the blasting cannons. Cannon Firing Test was conducted in the parking space beside Maramma Temple, Mysore Palace, out of 13 Dasara Jumbos, 11 participated in cannon firing test, Abhimamyu was shifted to Bandipur to be part of Tiger Trapping Operation and Varalakshmi is pregnant. 25 horses also took part in the Cannon Firing Test. 3 rounds 6 cannons used, later , one round each using 3 cannons.
