Microsoft Train Simulator - The Mercury Visits Austria

Our next run in Austria is from St. Anton to Innsbruck. This locomotive is New York Central J3a Hudson #5429. In real life, an Empire State Express-pulling steam locomotive, that has been colored to a "what-if" version of the New York Central's Mercury passenger train of 1956. 5429 along with the other New York Central Hudsons were all scrapped. The Hudsons' legacy began with Lionel. The locomotive was from the Train Artisan American Classics Package which was previously payware on Just Trains. You can see the full cab, including the fireman's side. That's because the package allows you to switch between the full cab and the engineer's side. Enjoy the sounds of the whistle as it tears through the stations and crossings. #msts #newyorkcentral #nychudson #steamlocomotive #passengertrain #mercury
