I Tried Selling 5 New Snacks at My Brother’s Stall — It Didn’t Go as Planned | Rural Life in Vietnam

Today, I tried adding five new snacks to what I already sell at my younger brother’s food stall: fried chicken with French fries, fish balls, sausages, cheese sticks, and fried rice rolls. I prepared the chicken at home, brought everything to the stall, helped my brother serve bún đậu mắm tôm, made drinks, and kept track of every order in my little notebook. As the evening went on, the stall became busier and busier, but things didn’t go quite the way I expected. By the end of the night, I counted everything to see how much I had sold and what I had actually earned. Even though the result wasn’t perfect, I learned a lot about what customers like and what I should do differently next time.
