1600 FPM Mitsubishi Elevators at Tokyo Opera City Tower in Shinjuku, Tokyo

Believe it or not, this was one of the more disappointing elevators I filmed on this trip. Despite being 1600 FPM, these aren’t actually super interesting as I’m not a big fan of the cabs or the fixtures. I think the main reason I don’t really like these is I’m not a fan of the lightbar style indicator, that’s probably why I wasn’t a huge fan of the Nomura Building. The indicator makes these look slower than they actually are, and they didn’t have very good acceleration either. I think I just like these less because I went to Sunshine 60 right before this and those are just a better version of these
