Saturday doesn’t mean a day off. We’re flat out today on the 56M Putzmeister, tackling two critical sections of the job: the cap beam and a massive crane pad. We’ve got 75 feet of 4-inch line hanging off the end to get the reach and placement exactly where it needs to be. Operating a 56M is all about boom management, especially when you’re swinging over a site with this much infrastructure. Running 4-inch line means the crew is working hard to move that hose, so smooth boom movement is everything. From the precision needed for the cap beam to the high-volume dump for the crane pad, this is what a "Big Rig" Saturday looks like. No days off when there's mud to move. Subscribe for real-time, long-form concrete pumping. We Work For a Living.
