Gambit Gone Wrong! | Road to 1500 | Ep. 37

I played White in this 10-minute Rapid game and decided to go for an aggressive gambit with 5. f3 against the Caro-Kann. Things quickly turned tactical as Black started hunting my pieces and king. I managed to survive the initial attack and eventually recovered the rook on h1, but Black's queen and pieces remained dangerously active. With both kings exposed and the clocks ticking, the game turned into a complete tactical mess. Unfortunately, I couldn't find a way out. Black eventually coordinated the queen and rooks around my king and finished the game with 42...Ra1#. A gambit, a king hunt, and a brutal finish.
