BRR #92 - umanea

umanea’s sets are full of dubbed-out, leftfield club gear with a punk streak and a proper stomp. A Sarajevo-raised, Amsterdam-based DJ and marine biologist, she’s drawn to bass-heavy records, cheeky rhythms, wrong speeds at the darker and sweatier end of dance music. Dub runs through it all, from stripped-back percussion to rougher, more industrial stuff. 3voor12 featured her among its Dutch DJ talents of 2026, as Future Intel crew’s pick. She’s recently played the Dekmantel afterparty at Garage Noord, Down The Rabbit Hole, Laak and Export, as well as Bristol’s Noods Radio and Mutant Radio.
