Arkong Bato, Valenzuela City September 15, 2026 “Sa ilalim ng Bagong Pilipinas, ating tinitiyak na ang pag-unlad ay nararamdaman sa pang-araw-araw na buhay ng ating mga kababayan. At nagsisimula iyon sa pagkakaroon ng isang tahanang ligtas, matibay, at matatawag ninyong inyo,” said President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. during the ceremonial turnover of 333 housing units in Disiplina Village Arkong Bato at M.H. Del Pilar Street in Barangay Arkong Bato, Valenzuela City on September 15, 2026. The President emphasized the need to provide families with safe and secure homes, especially those living in danger zones and flood-prone areas. He said the Disiplina Village is part of the government’s relocation program for informal settler families (ISFs), including those living near the Tullahan River, which frequently floods. “Bukod sa proyektong ito, halos anim na raang libong pabahay mula Hulyo 2022 hanggang Hulyo nitong taon ang nagawa ng inyong pamahalaan upang magkaroon ng sariling bahay ang ating mga kababayan sa ilalim ng iba’t ibang programa ng pamahalaan,” added the President, noting that the community provides beneficiaries with easier access to education and healthcare. President Marcos Jr. also cited the government’s housing efforts through various programs, including the Expanded Pambansang Pabahay Para sa Pilipino (4PH) Program, in partnership with national government agencies, local government units (LGUs) and the private sector.
