United Against Hate Week highlights the importance of working together to raise awareness about hate crimes. State Attorney Alexcia Cox and our Palm Beach County Hate Crimes Task Force joined law enforcement, community partners and elected officials to strengthen collaboration and support those affected by hate and bias-related incidents. The Palm Beach County Board of County Commissioners and the West Palm Beach City Commission recognized United Against Hate Week with official proclamations, underscoring our shared commitment to standing against hate and protecting the rights and dignity of everyone who calls our county home. The week also included the United Against Hate Summit, hosted by the Jewish Federation of South Palm Beach County, which brought together approximately 250 law enforcement professionals, first responders and community partners for training and discussions on recognizing, investigating and responding to hate crimes. As Assistant State Attorney and Task Force Chair Freddie Menard said, “United Against Hate Week reflects the power of partnership — we can strengthen awareness, improve coordination and ensure residents know where to turn when they experience or witness hate.” Thank you to our Task Force members and all the partners who helped make this week meaningful. Standing together against hate is a commitment we carry forward every day.
