Family Simm - Emma's Adventures - Saas Balen to Sass Almagell (silent)

Once again Graham was at work so I took the opportunity to venture out on my own and decided on the Saastal (Saas Valley). This was a leisurely hike instead of a high Alpine tour. The trail following the cross-country ski route mostly and takes around two and a half hours from Saas-Balen to Saas-Almagell. The trail takes you past numerous Valais villages along the Vispe river and there seems to be an abundance of churches and chapels. With this being a valley in winter, the sun was in short supply and disappeared behind the mountains quite quickly. If you are planning on doing this walk be prepared with warm clothing. I also had some issue with the GoPro batteries in the cold and they didn’t last very long. Unfortunately it means I didn’t quite film the last part, arriving at Saas-Almagell. Don't forget to check out the subtitles for more information. ‪@SaasFeeSaastal‬ #familysimm #travel #walk #walking #hike #hiking #switzerland #schweiz #suisse #svizzera #iloveswitzerland #inlovewithswitzerland #amazingswitzerland #myswitzerland #visitswitzerland #valais #wallis #saas #saastal #saasfee LINKS --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Tourist Services: https://www.saas-fee.ch/en/ PostAuto Walk Information: https://www.postauto.ch/en/leisure-of...
