Visiting Mary Ross Waterfront Park, Brunswick, Georgia I ব্রান্সউইক, জর্জিয়ার মেরি রস ওয়াটারফ্রন্ট পার্ক পরিদর্শন Mary Ross Waterfront Park is a scenic, multi-use community park located along the East River in Historic Downtown Brunswick, Georgia. Situated at the western end of Gloucester Street on Bay Street, it serves as a central hub for community gatherings, local maritime views, and history. The park features The Liberty Ship Memorial Plaza, where one can see a large-scale model of a World War II Liberty Ship. This monument honors the local shipyards where over 90 of these transport vessels were constructed during the war. The park hosts the open-air market on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, bringing fresh regional goods and local crafts straight to the waterfront. Manatees, also known as 'sea cows', are large, gentle, slow-moving marine mammals. These fully aquatic herbivores spend their days grazing on water grasses and resting in shallow coastal waters, rivers, and springs. Despite their fish-like appearance, their closest living land relatives are actually elephants. The turkey vulture is a large, highly adaptable scavenger and the most widespread of the New World vultures. Known for its featherless, bright red head that mirrors a wild turkey, this bird acts as nature’s clean-up crew by consuming decaying organic matter. #manatee #turkeyvulture #georgia #brunswick
