Day 2 - Visiting Phu Chi Fa & Phi Chi Dao Mountian Viewpoint (Chiang Rai Province) Thailand

Day 2 in Phu Chi Fa, We went to Phu Chi Fa viewpoint to witnessed the sea of mist sunrise above the clouds. However, the rain and foggy sky was bad for visibility so never capture much footage. In the evening We went to Phu Chi Dao mountain viewpoint for sunset. Phu Chi Dao which is located about 8km away from the famous Phu Chi Fa Mountain. Phu Chi Dao offers a great alternative for those looking to enjoy the stunning view of the surrounding mountains without the crowds. Unfortunately, the road to Phu Chi Dao is not paved here so you will have to hire a local pickup truck that often waits at the base of the peak for 500 THB per one car to take you up there. Phu Chi Dao which forms a natural border between Thailand and Laos, stands 1,800m above sea level and is taller than Phu Chi Fa which is 1,442m tall. The viewpoint offers the visitors with a 360-degree unobstructed view of Thailand and Laos. Phu Chi Dao is undoubtedly the spectacular view that raises up to the sky, which is why it is called “Reaching the Star Mountain. Hope you enjoy this video.
