The village is famous for our martyr baba sohan singh bhakna. On Sunday morning, we started to explore India gate to bhakna kalan to know the ancient history of lord shiva temple. When we reached prachin shiv mandir amritsar, we noticed the architecture is too old and they mention it is 400 years old shiv temple. We explored the whole place and was curious about the ancient history. But Pandit ji here was also don't the exact history of shiv temple in bhakna kalan village. Then we explored the more things in village and talked some locals about this temple. Someone helped us and he recommend to meet the family of baba sohn singh bhakna. Then we reached there and met the person who is a grandson of baba sohan singh bhakna. He gave us a lot of info about village and history about shiv temple.
