Murderer to Martyr, Part 3 | Old Sinners New Saints - Episode 9

From persecuting Christians to becoming one of the most influential figures in Christianity. Talk about a career change. In the final chapter of our Murderer to Martyr series, Ben and I bring the story of the Apostle Paul home. We’re talking about a man who went from hunting followers of Jesus to preaching the very Gospel he once tried to destroy. A man who faced imprisonment, beatings, shipwrecks, opposition, and enough trouble to make most of us reconsider our life choices. And yet, Paul kept going! What changed? What drove him? And what can a man who lived nearly 2,000 years ago teach a couple of old sinners trying to figure things out today? Along the way, we wrestle with faith, grace, suffering, redemption, and the uncomfortable reality that God has a habit of using the very people the rest of us might have written off. As usual, I ask questions, Ben brings the theology, and somehow, we manage to keep the whole thing from going completely off the rails. Mostly. Whether you’ve been following along since Part One or you’re just joining us, this is a story worth hearing. Because Paul’s life isn’t simply about how dramatically a person can change it is about how all of us can find a meaningful relationship with Jesus. It’s about the God who makes that change possible.
