Ten real German conversations you will actually have — at a bakery, on a train platform, in a pharmacy, at a Christmas market. No textbook German: hesitation, half sentences, small talk and all. 29 minutes of slow, natural beginner German (A1–A2). Each of the 10 dialogues is a complete 45-turn conversation between two people — one male voice, one female voice — so you hear both sides of a real exchange instead of a list of phrases to memorise. ⏱ CHAPTERS 00:00 The last pretzel — 7 a.m. at the bakery 03:03 Platform 7, but different — running for a relocated train 06:00 The room with the crooked window — apartment viewing 09:10 Pharmacy, but no prescription — when your voice is gone 11:45 The coffee that never came — café small talk 14:35 Sunday, everything closed — Germany's Sunday rules 17:20 The bike chain — a roadside repair 19:54 A package for the neighbour — building gossip 22:29 Flea market at five — haggling for an old lamp 25:46 The Christmas market test — first Glühwein 🎧 HOW TO USE THIS VIDEO 1. Listen once, audio only, no subtitles. Catch what you can. 2. Listen again with the German subtitles on. Mark the lines you missed. 3. Third pass: shadow. Say each line out loud right after the speaker — this is where the grammar actually sticks. One dialogue a day, ten days. That is the whole plan. 📌 WHAT YOU'LL PICK UP • Everyday German as it is really spoken — "na ja", "ach so", "also", "echt?", "oder?" • Modal verbs in normal sentences (ich möchte … schicken, können wir … teilen, muss ich … sein, soll ich … annehmen) • The Sie / du switch — and the exact moment two strangers in Germany decide to drop it • Ten situations you will hit in your first month in a German-speaking country 🗣 LEVEL: A1–A2 (CEFR). Short sentences, no long subordinate clauses, natural speed. Too fast? Play at 0.75x — the subtitles still line up. 💬 Which scene would you struggle with — the bakery or the pharmacy?
