Don’t miss this other figure customization I worked on:    • Fixed the Flaking! ROTS Vader Converted to...   Hey everybody! In this video, I want to share the method I used to weather the 1/8 scale Kotobukiya C-3PO. This is my first time using white glue to create a texture that looks like built-up dirt. Normally, I use wood pigments for weathering, they're cheap and give pretty solid results. For this project, I also tried to improve the figure’s base by applying white glue to the surface and sprinkling sand over it. I then finished it off with Tamiya's desert-colored acrylic paint. On top of that, I built C-3PO’s restraining bolt, which I think is a really cool little detail. Small touches like this add more depth to the figure, and I really enjoy doing them. I hope my videos inspire you to dive into figure customization or any miniature project. Fluent in over six million forms of communication, he specializes in translation and etiquette. Alongside his companion R2-D2, he plays a key role in the Rebel Alliance’s fight against the Empire. Despite being clumsy and overly cautious, C-3PO is a loyal and essential part of the saga, often providing comic relief while unintentionally helping save the day. #starwarsbattlefront2 #c3po #actionfigures
