SZA - I Made You Up (Official Video 2026)

Some breakups don't end a relationship. They end an illusion. "I Made You Up" is for everyone who finally realised they weren't grieving a person , they were grieving the version of him they built out of a few real moments and a lot of hope. I made you up Took a little bit of truth and built a man I made you up Put words inside your mouth you never said and never can Now I'm grieving somebody That nobody's ever met I can't get him back He was never here to get He never lied. He told her exactly who he was in the first week , she just kept the pieces she wanted and wrote the rest herself. A hazy, guitar-led 4AM reckoning about doing all the work of loving someone who was only ever existing. There's no closure here, because you can't get back a man who was never there. #SZA #IMadeYouUp #SZA2026 #NewRnB2026 #TrapSoul #AlternativeRnB #EmotionalRnB #HeartbreakRnB #SZAVevo #NoirSoul #SZANewSong
