Key Cincinnati Reds Minor League Standouts
Carter Graham emerged as a major offensive breakout, hitting .300 with 29 home runs, 93 RBIs, 13 stolen bases, an .986 OPS and 80 walks. His power and improved plate discipline made him a leading candidate for the Reds' 2026 Minor League Player of the Year.
Alfredo Duno continued to establish himself as one of the organization's most intriguing catching prospects. Despite dealing with an injury and some struggles at High-A Dayton, Duno showed significant offensive upside and remains one of the Reds' highest-ceiling prospects.
Hervin Murillo was one of the biggest risers in the organization. The young catcher hit over .300, displayed impressive power and posted an exceptional walk rate while progressing through the Reds' system.
Jalen Hairston had a breakout season at Low-A Daytona, hitting .315 with 11 home runs and a .973 OPS while establishing himself as a productive leadoff hitter.
Justin LeBron, the Reds' 2026 draft pick, made an immediate impact with Dayton, hitting eight home runs in roughly two months and showing advanced defensive ability at shortstop.
Eder Gutierrez and Angel Nunez Jr. stood out among the Reds' international prospects. Both teenagers produced impressive seasons in the Dominican Summer League and represent important pieces of the organization's long-term development pipeline.
Ike Redona earned recognition as a top pitching prospect after a strong season and was named the ACL Pitcher of the Year. His strikeout ability, pitch mix and left-handed profile make him an intriguing prospect moving forward.
Rayuteri Morete also impressed as a young left-handed pitcher, including experience pitching for the Netherlands in the 2026 World Baseball Classic.
Kian Vu provided one of the most memorable moments of the season by stealing home on a walk-off play. He also reached the 20-home-run, 20-stolen-base milestone.
Jacob Friend produced a 20-home-run, 20-stolen-base, 20-double season and continued his progression through the Reds' system.
Carlos Jorge had an impressive year spanning Double-A, Triple-A and the major leagues, while Hector Rodriguez continued to show significant power after his promotion.
