God Is With You Tonight | Jesus Is With You | 10 Hours of Bible Verses for Sleep in God's Presence

God is with you tonight. Ten hours of Bible verses for sleep about God's presence through the night: twenty-two readings in the King James Version, from the Psalms, Genesis, Exodus, Joshua, Isaiah, Zephaniah, the Gospels, and Hebrews, each followed by a new prayer, with rain and quiet music underneath. Leave it playing and fall asleep in God's presence. Whether you are lying awake in a quiet house, in a hospital bed, or in a new city far from home, you are not alone tonight. “Yea, the darkness hideth not from thee; but the night shineth as the day: the darkness and the light are both alike to thee.” Psalm 139:12 Captions are available. Tap CC if you would like to read along. Every pass opens with Psalm 139, Whither shall I flee from thy presence, and closes with Psalm 121, He that keepeth thee will not slumber. Between them, five parts turn through the night: Fear thou not; for I am with thee, In the night seasons, My presence shall go with thee, It is I; be not afraid, and I am continually with thee. Jesus is with you in every one of them, from “Be of good cheer; it is I; be not afraid.” in Matthew 14 to “Lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world.” in Matthew 28. The readings come round eight times, and each time the voice grows a little quieter and the pauses a little longer, so nothing wakes you. Some longer passages are read as the verses that speak most to God's presence; each chapter below names the verses read.
