Beyond the Pause - The Case for Menopause Inclusive Workplaces

Beyond the Pause is a global campaign on menopause at work led by ALN, the Employment Law Alliance and Newson Health. As part of our Beyond the Pause campaign, we hosted a webinar to unpack why menopause is fast becoming a workplace legal issue rather than just a health one. Employment tribunals and legislators in markets like the UK, Australia and the US are moving to recognise menopause related treatment as a matter of discrimination, disability and workplace rights. The webinar also looked at the policy landscape taking shape across Africa, where the conversation is still emerging, and why organisations on the continent should be paying attention now rather than waiting for regulation to catch up.
