Thank you so much for watching and supporting my channel. 📖Supplies: 3.75 mm (US F/5) crochet hook Yarn needle Scissors Two buttons: 0.5 in (1 cm) and 0.75 in (2 cm). 🧶Yarn: Worsted 100% Acrylic. You could also use cotton This is a great scrap project, so you really only need two main colors for the book cover and the pages. For this tutorial I use: Loops & Threads in Taupe [Brown](cover) Lions Brand Wool Ease in Fisherman [White](pages + motif + scissor holder attachment) Scrap yarn for embroidered flowers in the colors orange, light green, and medium green Any scrap yarn for the edge of the book cover. I used a 2-ply tan and cream yarn. This pattern follows U.S. Terminology 🇺🇸 Stitches used in this tutorial: Slip knot Ch - chain Sc - single crochet (yarn over, insert hook, pull up a loop, pull through 2 loops) Dc - double crochet (yarn over, insert hook, pull up a loop, pull through 2 loops, yarn over, pull through 2 loops) Sl st - slip stitch (insert hook, pull yarn through, pull through again) Back loop Front loop ✏️Specifications: (approximate) This little book measures 3.5 x 3.5 in (9 x 9 cm). It is 1 in (2.5 cm) deep on the sides. The pattern makes a scissor holder best suited for small scissors about 3 in (8 cm) long. The pocket is 2 in (5 cm) deep.
