I will be demonstrating two versions of this bun and you can decide which one you like better. The first one is how most instructions on the web describe this Edwardian hair do. I then came up with another way of doing this that will add a bit of crown volume and some volume at the base of the bun. Edwardian Hair do's weren't flat, they were poufy on top. My version is a bit more modern, less poufy, requires no hair pieces, teasing or pinning. You may notice I used the same upside down twist that is part of my Chinese Twist Hair Do. I really like using that technique because it will give you a different look up front too, without having to do very much at all. This is my hair in August, after I cut back to hip length (am back at tailbone length right now) on day 2 after a wash. My (current) hair type is 1a / M/ ii (8.5cm, used to be 10cm). If you haven't noticed, my channel and blog are mostly about dealing with hair loss and overcoming health issues. Do I don't need any hair insults coming my way. I am not claiming to have the best hair. Just decent considering what I have went through and maybe some day it will be back to normal.
