In this video, I break down the latest policy announced by the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC) that directly impacts all students planning to pursue MBBS or BDS abroad. According to this new policy, passing the MDCAT exam with at least 50% marks has become mandatory, along with achieving 60% in your FSc and medical subjects. Only after meeting these requirements can students obtain a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from PMDC to study abroad. I also share my concerns about the timing of this policy. Many students have already begun their application processes, and the sudden implementation could disrupt their educational plans. I believe a phased approach or a one-year delay would have been more considerate, allowing students to prepare adequately. At Soft Consultants, we're here to guide you through these changes and help you navigate the new requirements smoothly. If you’re worried about how this policy might affect your plans to study medicine abroad, watch this video for detailed insights and practical advice.
