What Made the Love VANISH From This House? | Love It or List It North America

Maggie and Roy Roedger bought their home 16 years ago for the big yard and the character — and for a while, that was enough. Three sons and two dogs later, the house has run out of answers on every single front. The kitchen is cramped and outdated, their son Gil doesn't have a proper bedroom to call his own, the basement is barely livable, the dining room needs a complete overhaul, and they've long since run out of office space. It's not one problem — it's everything, all at once. Hilary Farr steps in to tackle a to-do list that's been growing for years, while David Visentin makes his case that a fresh start might be far easier than fixing a house that's failing on this many levels. Maggie and Roy have been patient for 16 years. Their patience has officially run out.
