Lesson 7, Easy Scroll Saw Project With Internal Cut

This video is a first scroll saw project video, a simple flowing pattern with one internal cut. When cutting internal patterns always start in the center and work out. I created the pattern by scanning a goose out of an old pattern book then found a heart outline for free and downloaded it. I then taped the heart on the goose and rescanned it to make a simple homemade pattern. I like to put any straight lines of a pattern against a straight edge of my material and I did so with this one by putting the bottom of the goose on the bottom edge of the board. The board is a scrap piece of 1x4 with a side cut on the table saw so it will make a good level base for the goose. I also sneak in a short video of my own geese Al, Trixie and Jewel.
