Unlike conventional designs using ribs or slats, IPI’s true composite construction integrates elastomers and reinforcement into a single vulcanised unit. Depending on the application, reinforcement can include high-tensile steel wire or non-metallic materials such as carbon fibre, polyester and Kevlar. From precision-machined components to finished inflatable packer elements and complete downhole tools, our manufacturing and engineering teams work together to deliver solutions tailored to demanding applications and customer requirements. IPI also operates a European Manufacturing Centre in Bulgaria, complementing our main Australian manufacturing operation and supporting customers through our wider international network.
