Do New Testament authors cite the Old Testament with integrity? Are you confused by the use of the Old Testament in the New? If you would like to grow in your understanding of how the New Testament uses the Old Testament, then please join us for this seminar with Chris Bruno and Ben Gladd. Sessions will include overviews of various approaches to this issue, how this applies to Israel and the Church, and related topics such as Mystery, Typology, and Prophecy. Time will also be devoted to question and answer sessions on this important issue that is neglected in many churches today. DR. BENJAMIN GLADD Ben is associate professor of New Testament at Reformed Theological Seminary in Jackson, MS. His academic interests include the New Testament’s use of the Old Testament, the Gospels, 1 Corinthians, and biblical theology. Before teaching at RTS, he served as associate pastor at Redeemer Church in Apple Valley, CA. Ben and his wife, Nikki, have been married for fifteen years and have two sons. CHRIS BRUNO, PH.D Chris Bruno is the incoming site director of the Hawaii extension of Bethlehem College & Seminary and a global partner with Training Leaders International. He will also be a member of Kailua Baptist Church. Before moving back to Oahu in July 2021, where he previously served as a pastor and teacher, Chris was on faculty at Bethlehem College & Seminary in Minneapolis, Cedarville University, and Northland International University.
