It was developed and operated by China Resources Land Limited and is the company's 100th self-owned and self-operated shopping mall, as well as the first MixC project in Guangzhou. Construction of the mall began on June 9, 2023, and it opened on September 30, 2026. The building was designed by KPF (Kohn Pedersen Fox Associates) with the concept of an "Urban Stage." Its architectural form is inspired by a "shell" slowly opening beside the Pearl River. A cross-river cable car station has also been reserved on the river-facing side of the building.[6] The mall has a gross floor area of 269,000 square meters. At its opening, nearly 500 brands moved in, with first stores, flagship stores, and customized stores accounting for 60 percent. Among them, Cha Yan Yue Se and its sub-brand Gude Moning opened their first Guangzhou branches here. In the southern quadrant of the mall is the heritage-protected Xie Hualunshi Building. To accommodate the mall's construction and surrounding development, the building was raised by 2.3 meters, relocated 36.45 meters to the northwest, and rotated 69.26 degrees counterclockwise. The mall is adjacent to Fangcun Metro Station, providing connections to Lines 1, 11, and 22, as well as the future Line 28. It was well known as the site of garden nurseries for flower and ornamental tree production as early as the 9th century, and the source of many "exotic" plants brought back to Europe in the 19th century.
