When Prophet Dawud (Dawud, peace be upon him) glorified Allah, the mountains and the birds joined in with him. The world we live in will end with a single sound: the blowing of the Trumpet. And with a second blast, all of creation will rise again. In the Qur’an, sound is never just noise. It moves mountains, gathers birds, and marks the end and the beginning of everything. So what happens when we truly listen to the words of Allah? The Qur’an tells us: “So when the Qur’an is recited, listen to it and be silent, so that you may receive mercy.” (7:204) This reflection is a reminder to give the Qur’an our attention, not just our ears. Put it on in your home, your car, your quiet moments, and let it reach your heart. 📖 Verses in this video: Surah Saba 34:10: the mountains and birds repeating praises with Dawud Surah Az-Zumar 39:68: the Trumpet is blown, then blown again Surah Al-A’raf 7:204: listen to the Qur’an so that you may receive mercy Surah Al-Hashr 59:21: had this Qur’an been sent down on a mountain, it would humble and crumble out of awe of Allah Subscribe to Ayah Today for reflections on the Qur’an and everyday life.
