Celeste - 7C needle Clear

absolutely unreal experience from start to finish but I'm so glad to have seen it through to the end even if it took way longer than i hoped I wasn't originally going to write down my experience on this map more than just gameplay but after watching olives rfts clear I figured it wouldn't hurt. This map completely broke me, I had very long periods of time where I was completely unable to make progress on the room which made me doubt if it was even worth finishing and many times i considered entirely quitting celeste just so I could maybe get away from this grind and move on but no matter what I did or how long I took a break from it the thought of all the time I put into this and that I never finished it tormented me, for the past 14 months since I started this map there would never go more than maybe 1 day that I didn't think about it and I'm sure it will be a long time until I'm truly able to move on from this chapter of my life, just to put into perspective I started room 3 on January 12th 2025 and I reached the 2nd part of the ending on February 4th after 102 hours in the room and that pb lasted until March 9th 2026 just 4 days before clearing and after over 200 more hours put into the room because I decided to go live and not end until I cleared the map and I put in nearly 56 hours within the 107 hours that I had streamed leading up to me clearing which was nearly 75% of my waking moments spent playing 7C needle all just trying to clear but then on the 2nd to last day I was playing super well but after dying to the 2nd to last input it just broke me then after waking up the next day with my thumb hurting and me playing poorly I just lost all hope but then I randomly managed to clear and so everything together is why I was just so emotional at the end. even after all that I still love this map so much it is for sure my favorite celeste map of all time so don't say it looks bad or unfun if you haven't even given it a try currently working on a sheet that explains every input for all relevant strats, I'll put it here once I finish it stats yay Room 1: red gm+2 31:08:00 8 runs past the hard part and of those 1 past the 1f right release shortly after which that attempt won Room 2: yellow gm+2 21:15:00 I dont remember the attempts to spikejump but i had 3 attempts past Room 3: red gm+3 348:01:59 runs to hard part: 887 past hard part: 321 past drop: 169 final third: 74 ending: 32 end-2: 10 for context the hard part is the part where I waited 5 years lol, I call it the hard part because it used to be 4 1f but then I found a strat so its free now (its still hard) also final third is the last cloud Time: 400:30:40 Deaths: 245989 streamed live at   / talyir   session vod:   / 2721091599   map: https://gamebanana.com/mods/457619
