Honeycomb: The World Beyond is a colourful sci-fi survival adventure that drops us onto the vibrant alien world of Sota7 as a bioengineer searching for knowledge that could help save humanity. Rather than arriving as a soldier, we're here to explore, scan alien flora and fauna, gather resources, build a base and experiment with bioengineering. There's a little No Man's Sky in all the scanning and discovery alongside hints of Subnautica in the isolated alien-world survival and modular base building. I've really enjoyed my first couple of hours exploring Sota7, and the fact that we can pet some of its adorable creatures certainly doesn't hurt!
