WKBW 7 News at 6PM Open - New Graphics, Music & Voiceover | October 8, 2026

Join Broadcast Plaza for all things media-related:   / discord   The 6pm open from ABC affiliate WKBW in Buffalo, New York. On Thursday, October 8 at 5pm, WKBW became the 22nd station within the Scripps News Group to debut the new "Scripps Keeper" graphics. They also got the new Scripps 2025 music from 11 One/Music. WKBW seemed to backtrack on their ElevenLabs AI voice artists, in favor of what sounds to be station talent. Evening anchor Jeff Russo sounds like the voiceover heard here, though I'm not 100% sure. The news open was unfortunately cut off on the station's side. ©2026 E.W. Scripps Company & WKBW-TV - No copyright infringement intended.
