Why trying so hard to be happy leaves you so tired is a question worth sitting with. We spend so much of our lives chasing happiness, peace, success, security, better relationships, and a better version of ourselves. We tell ourselves, “I’ll be happy when…” But what happens when happiness becomes something we have to achieve? In this video, inspired by the teachings of J. Krishnamurti, we explore why the constant search for happiness can create psychological exhaustion. We look at the idea of psychological time, the pressure to “become” someone different, and the inner conflict created when we try to escape sadness, fear, insecurity, or the feeling that we are not enough. Perhaps the problem is not that we are trying too little. Perhaps it is the way we are trying. Instead of constantly asking, “How do I fix myself?” what happens when we simply observe what is actually happening within us? This is an exploration of happiness, self-improvement, inner conflict, psychological time, self-awareness, and the possibility of seeing ourselves without constantly trying to become someone else. If you've ever felt exhausted from trying to be happier, more successful, more confident, or more at peace, this video invites you to pause and look at what is really happening. ⏱️ TIMESTAMPS 00:00 - Why Are You So Tired? 03:00 - The Trap of "I’ll Be Happy When..." 06:00 - The Search vs. Running Away 09:00 - Psychological Time & The Gap of Becoming 12:00 - From Self-Fixing to Pure Observation 15:00 - What Happens When You Stop Searching? ⚠️ DISCLAIMER This video is intended for educational and philosophical inspiration.
