The 4x4 Sandakphu Terrain

Sandakphu is highest peak in West Bengal, India. It is located around 31 km from Manebhanjan. Although the distance is less, but it takes around 3-4 hrs to cover this 31 km. The road till Tumling is almost manageable for a 2wd, but after that it is full of offroading. 4wd is must for the rest of the distance. The beauty of sandakphu is that the both kanchanjangha as well as Everest can be viewable from here. The last stretch of the route from Bikheybhanjang up to Sandakphu (4kms) is really steep. In this video I have mostly covered the last 4 km. I was driving my Night Fury (Mahindra Scorpio S4+ 4wd).
