Ensuring Equitable Access to Coverage for LGBTQI+ People

In this Beyond the Basics webinar presented on June 11, 2024, Caroline Medina, Director of Policy, and Kellan Baker, Executive Director from Whitman-Walker Institute and Out2Enroll, describe the new ACA 1557 nondiscrimination regulation and the new sexual orientation and gender identity (SOGI) marketplace application questions. Caroline also provides information about how enrollment assisters can leverage these new protections and data collection opportunities to continue to build trusting, effective relationships with LGBTQI+ consumers and help them access the coverage and care they need.
