Today, we’re going to take a drive around the island and see what Phuket looks like in 2026. Along the way, we’ll pass through some of the most famous areas of Phuket, including four of the island’s well-known beaches — Patong Beach, Kamala Beach, Karon Beach, and Kata Beach — as well as parts of Phuket Town. But this isn’t just a drive to enjoy the scenery. I also want to show you some of the changes happening around the island this year. Phuket is constantly developing, and every time you come back, there seems to be something new to see. New condominiums, hotels, shopping centres, restaurants, shops, and other businesses continue to appear, while some older places are changing or disappearing. Some areas can look completely different compared to just a few years ago. And that’s one of the interesting things about Phuket — the island never really seems to stop changing. As we drive around, you’ll get to see the beaches, the roads, local neighbourhoods, tourist areas, and some of the newer developments along the way. Of course, we won’t be able to visit every single part of the island in one video.
