Silverton Colorado County Route 822 San Juan Mountains 4X4 Off Road Bullion King Lake 4WD Jeep Trail

The weather wasn’t spectacular this day but the biggest thing thwarting the views and the usually beautiful blue Colorado sky is the smoke from California wild fires. What's interesting about this road is that it's NOT any tourist attraction or even on anyone's radar per se. It's just... there. It leads to a short 1/4 mile hiking trail to a small alpine lake. There's so many major attractions in the area like Black Bear Pass, Ophir Pass, Imogene Pass (coming in my next video), The Alpine Loop, and much more that this little road goes unnoticed (except by geeks like me). That's interesting because just by itself this road is as or more awesome than what most states have to offer yet out here it's just... nothing. Not even a tourist attraction out here!!
