Linda Larochelle: Relief Block Prints Solo Exhibition | Members Gallery This solo exhibition in the Members Gallery features relief block prints by artist Linda Larochelle. Trained at the San Francisco Art Institute during the era of the Bay Area Figurative Movement, Larochelle continues to explore the human figure as a means of storytelling and expressing the human condition. Working with carved linoleum blocks, Larochelle hand-pulls each print and varies the application of color, creating what she calls “unique variations” rather than identical editions. The exhibition celebrates both the expressive possibilities of relief printmaking and the individuality of the handmade print. The exhibition is on view September 26–October 30. Signed copies of Larochelle’s new children’s book, A Thank You Book for Kids, are also available.
