Trying A Protective Style For The FIRST Time… why was this so hard

Natural hair protective styles are supposed to be easy right??? Hey Everybody, Welcome back to my channel and if you're new here Heyyyyy my name is Desiree but I go by Motley Girl. I'm 7 months into my hair growth journey and I'm starting to struggle a bit. It's at a weird length so there really isn't much I can do with it. I have a little bit of length now so I decided to switch it up a bit. In today's video I'm trying two cornrows but with feeding in some braiding hair. Now when my was long I would do this style all the time with no problem but now that it's short I have to feed in some hair. I've watched so many videos and they make it look so easy but nobody talks about how hard adding hair into cornrows really is. Especially when you're doing it on your own hair. I struggled so much and almost gave up… but the final results actually turned out way better than I expected. Can't wait to perfect it but it felt amazing not having to bother with may hair for a few days. Do you struggle with braiding your own hair.
