#MyDecadeOnYoutube - Episode 19: The day I ran Norfolk & Western 611; my favorite steam locomotive

May 26, 2023 was truly a day I will never forget for the rest of my life. That day I returned to Strasburg Pennsylvania to realize my childhood dream; to get in the cab and put my hand on the throttle to run a locomotive. But not just any locomotive, it was a steam locomotive. I have loved Norfolk & Western 611 since I was a small 4 year old boy, and had dreamt for years of being in the cab and running this beautiful steam locomotive at speed. If I ever get another opportunity to do this again, I will most definitely take it, and get plenty more footage (preferably in the cab!)
