Star Wars Battlefront II 2005 - Gaming Session #1

Welcome to another session of Star Wars: Battlefront II (2005), which is quite possibly the most important video game I've ever played! My history with this game goes all the way back to 2012, when I was six years old. Battlefront II was the first video game I ever really played, as well as my introduction to the PlayStation 2. More importantly, it was one of the things that originally got me interested in Star Wars, science fiction, video games, and a lot of the stuff I'm still interested in today. I spent countless hours playing this game with my dad when I was growing up. We played Galactic Conquest, Instant Action, space battles, and even some of the more niche gamemodes. One of those was 1-Flag Capture the Flag, which somehow became my favorite Battlefront gamemode and remains my favorite even now. Battlefront II is one of those games that has simply never left my life. I've been playing it for more than a decade across the PlayStation 2 and PC, and despite having that much experience with it, I am STILL finding things I didn't know. Weird AI behaviors, obscure mechanics, map details, unused or overlooked features, different strategies, mods, forgotten community content.. there always seems to be something else buried in this game. In a pretty significant way, I probably wouldn't be the same person I am today if I had never played Battlefront II. This was the game that got me into gaming in the first place, helped get me into Star Wars and science fiction, and gave me countless memories playing alongside my dad. And now, more than ten years later... I'm still playing it. These videos are basically recordings of my gaming sessions, so there isn't necessarily some grand objective every time. Sometimes I'm playing seriously, sometimes I'm experimenting, sometimes I'm exploring mods or unusual gamemodes, and sometimes I'm just enjoying a game I've loved since I was six years old. Expect Galactic Conquest, Conquest, CTF, 1-CTF, space battles, custom maps, mods, ridiculous AI moments, nostalgia, and whatever else Battlefront II decides to throw at me. Also: I don't ever expect my videos to blow up in popularity. I just make these videos because I enjoy making them and I love knowing that people out there enjoy seeing me play my two favorite games ever, even if it's only a small group of people. I don't make money off of these, and honestly I probably never will because copyright, which I like having the music on so middle finger to YouTube I guess lol.
