For over 20 years, this spring has been a lifeline — families walking for it, communities depending on it, people traveling all the way from Nakuru just to fetch water from it.
Here's what most people don't know: this one spring feeds five others. Its health doesn't just serve Enoosupukia — it determines water security for an entire region.
But it was under threat. Daily trampling by livestock, unregulated access, degraded banks — slowly choking the source that thousands rely on.
So under the BRISK Project (Building Resilience in the Southern Kenyan Landscape), ILEPA moved in with a contractor to:
✅ Erect a chain-link fence with treated posts
✅ Build a collection sump
✅ Create a controlled access point
Result: a clean source. Intact banks. Water that keeps flowing — not just for today, but for generations.
