Our army has finally grown strong enough to challenge Highland on equal terms, and it's time to go on the offensive. Given three possible assignments, I choose to accompany Viktor and defend the border against Jowy's advancing army. The objective is normally to survive for seven turns—but instead, we take the fight directly to Jowy and defeat his unit! Our attention then turns toward occupied Greenhill. Kiba's army cannot easily break through the city's defenses, so Riou and his party return to the secret passage we previously used to escape. Along the way, we encounter *Lucia**, who reveals her personal grudge against Teresa and the history behind it. After defeating her forces, we continue into Greenhill itself, where the mysterious Dark Knight **Yuber* stands in our way. Yuber summons a powerful **Bone Dragon**, leading to a difficult boss battle before Greenhill is finally liberated from Highland occupation. Our victory is bittersweet, however.
