I've been a lawyer for almost two years, and my career has gone nothing like I expected. In this video, I’m sharing my career progression so far as a lawyer in the Philippines—from graduating law school and passing the Bar in 2024, to signing the Roll of Attorneys in January 2025, choosing environmental law, and discovering unexpected opportunities in speaking, teaching, and mentoring Bar takers. I started my legal career with a plan, especially because I knew I would eventually be moving abroad. But some of the best parts of my career came from the things I never planned for.
