Around volcano bay Part２/ぐるっと、噴火湾　Part２　4K/30[0105]

噴火湾の正式名称は内浦湾です。「噴火湾」という呼称は、1796年（寛政8年）に当地を訪れた英国の調査船スループプロビデンス号のブロートン海尉が、周囲を取り囲む北海道駒ヶ岳や有珠山など3つの火山を見て「Volcano Bay」と語ったことに由来するといわれています。今回は、南側の森町にあるイカめしで有名な森駅から室蘭の地球岬まで、少し寄り道をしながらぐるっと回ってみた動画を３回に分けてお届けします。 　Part１は、森駅から長万部まで、Part２は長万部から洞爺湖温泉まで、Part３は洞爺湖温泉町から地球岬までとなっています。 　撮影時期は、2026年６月上旬です。 　動画内で使用した経路アニメーションは、GASOさん作成の「gaso GSI Movie Maker」を使用させていただき作成しました。感謝です。 The official name of "Funka Bay" (Eruption Bay) is Uchiura Bay. The name "Volcano Bay" is said to have originated in 1796 (Kansei 8), when Lieutenant Broughton of the British survey sloop Providence visited the area; upon seeing the three surrounding volcanoes?including Hokkaido Komagatake and Mount Usu?he referred to it by that name. In this series, presented in three parts, we take a scenic drive around the bay, making a few detours along the way: starting at Mori Station (famous for *ikameshi*, or squid stuffed with rice) in the southern town of Mori, and ending at Cape Chikyu in Muroran. Part 1 covers the route from Mori Station to Oshamambe; Part 2 goes from Oshamambe to Toyako Onsen; and Part 3 takes you from the Toyako Onsen area to Cape Chikyu. The footage was filmed in early June 2026. The route animation used in the video was created with the help of "gaso GSI Movie Maker," developed by GASO. Many thanks to them.
