Toyota's TS010 represented the pinnacle of Group C technology with its revolutionary 50-valve 3.5-liter V10 engine screaming to 13,000 rpm and producing over 700 horsepower. At the 1992 and 1993 Le Mans races, the TS010s battled Peugeot's 905 in epic duels that showcased the ultimate evolution of prototype racing. Despite being faster on the straights, Toyota finished second both years as reliability and fuel consumption gave Peugeot the advantage. The TS010 remains one of the most technologically advanced race cars never to win Le Mans—Group C's magnificent swansong.
