Rupert split his third NBA season between two teams. He began the year with the Portland Trail Blazers, who had exercised his team option during the offseason. After appearing in 48 games for Portland and averaging 2.9 points and 1.8 rebounds, he was waived by the team on February 20, 2026. He was subsequently picked up by the Memphis Grizzlies, where he finished the remainder of the regular season.
