Its unique expectations and execution cultivated a massive following, but has it maintained its original promises and quality? There are hype moments to be sure with the introduction of Conquest, the Invincible war, and future Viltrumite threats on the horizon, such as Thragg, but are the nuances of the writing still there, or has it sold itself short to generate cheap stakes and have an easier time writing? In this video, I explore three aspects of expectation set up by season 1: Powers, Characters, and Plot, and how they are currently being handled.
